Mo Manning Make a Wish

This adorable little girlie is called "Make a Wish" and you can find her here. She was supposed to be for last week's bingo challenge at Mo's DP2.  Fortunately, this week's challenge is for a sentiment so I can still enter her.   I coloured her with Copics and teamed her with papers I found in my scrap draw.  I know the small strip at the bottom is DCWV Mariposa, the panel with the red flowers is K&Co and I think the larger panel is Papermania but I can't be sure.  I opted for a red and aqua theme with some lime green thrown in.  Bold, I know, but I think it works.  The flowers are Recollections topped with pearls and accompanied by Marianne Die skeleton leaves. Gosh I love that die! The sentiment is Penny Black and the ribbon is from my stash.   After I had coloured my image, I then decided to emboss some dandilion clocks around her with a Craft Concepts folder but I put the folder in the wrong way round so they are in fact de-embossed.  Whoops!   This is one of my favourite sketches to use - it enables me to use my 6x4 papers on a square card - and the image is a gem!
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
DP2 - 122 My Sentiments Exactly
Cute Card Thursday - 204 Flower Power
Sir Stampalot - In the Garden

She is such a sweetie. I love Mo's images too. Beautiful colors. I just caught up on what I have missed on your blog lately and your apt in Crete is lovely. Such modern sleek lines. I did not picture your home decorating as modern and sleek lines. Funny, I guess I just figured your home or second home would look like your cards. Lol Thanks for giving me a glimpse into your surroundings. Hugs, Linda

I was just thinking ooh thats clever embossing the dandelions when I read about you doing it the wrong way round, see if you hadn't mentioned it I would have thought it intentional and perfect;)
