Just Magnolia is Magnolia-licious with a Paperplay too late for Wild Orchid

This is the third card I made during my recent play day with Alex and Julie.    Just Magnolia want to see our Favourite Things and Magnolia-licious have a colour combo of green and orange.   Tilda is definitely one my favourite things at the moment but the little cupcake she is holding comes a very close second and then add in the two little flower shaped buttons (courtesy of a raid on Alex' stash) and the pretty flowers, the Papermania ribbon and bow and  my MS leaf punch and this card is positvely overflowing with favourite things.   I'm particularly pleased with the colour combo which scared me at first but having seen the beautiful creations by the DT using orange and green I decided to have a go and I love it.  It's so Springtime!   Some of the papers are from my scraps - I think the pale orange plain mount is SU, the swirly orange is Sizzix and the green, which I embossed in a Cuttlebug folder, is DCWV.  Im not sure about the plaid but it was just perfect.   I used an EK Success punch for the scallop cut and the sentiment is another freebie that came with my Craft Stamper magazine.  The ink for the sentiment is SU and a perfect match and my image is coloured with Copics.
I used Bev's sketch at Wild Orchid for this card but I'm too late but I am entering into Paperplay's Cutie Patootie theme this week.

Oh this is adorable. I just love that Tilda, doing my favourite thing. Well ok, eating the cake would be my fav. The colours are lovely together and that zingy, spotty ribbon is perfect. So, we have something else (Julie) in common. :)

You did such a great job and I find it so inspiring to watch you and Julie work, your approach is so different to mine and it makes me want to make things as beautiful as yours. Thanks so much for coming for a play and I can't wait to do it again!
