Sweet Stampin with a Truly Scrumptious Creative Cardcrew and a Passion for Promarkers

I hope you are all well and truly into the holiday festivities but perhaps you have other occasions to celebrate too.  For me December means not only Christmas but also hubby's birthday and our wedding anniversary.  This week the theme at
is "Celebrations".   You can decide on what you want to celebrate.  I have chosen our wedding anniversary.
Our sponsor for December is the lovely Emma at Crafty Emma's StoreFairy Dust Crafts and Prairie Fairie Designs are additional fabby sponsors for this challenge which will continue for TWO weeks (to give my talent of teamies some time off over Christmas).   Sadly for me, it will be my last posting for Sweet Stampin.  I shall be forever grateful to Emma Lockley of Something Sweet (do send her some love) for selecting me to join this fabby team and I shall miss working with all of my lovely pals, particularly the quite-mad and always hilarious choklit-lovin and absolutely delightful Faye of Stampin FluffnStuff fame - my fluffy boss throughout my tenure!  I shan't lose touch though!
So, onto my card...I used the Luscious Linda from Kenny K because she looks like me!   Well - she has a similar hair style anyway - I can't compete with the bod!  When I made the card, Kenny K's Krafty Girlz had a monochrome challenge - hence all the red -but I'm too late for it now.
My papers are all SU.  I cut the little heart buckle using a Sizzix die and I added some special brads with eyes through which to wind my ribbon.  I have seen other people plait ribbon through papers in the past but I can't remember where so I'm afraid I can't give the necessary credit.  The stamped sentiment is by Autumn Leaves and the Happy Anniversary is a peel off.  I forget that I have a crate of peel offs because I almost never use them anymore but it was just right for today.   Luscious Linda is coloured predominantly in Promarkers although I confess that I did sneek in the odd Copic too.
I am entering my card into a number of challenges:  I used the great sketch from Truly Scrumptious.  They have an additional option to "frame" the image but I made Linda too tall to fit in the frame I was going to use. Creative Cardcrew and Passion for Promarkers are both running "anything goes".  It's possible that I might get another post in before Christmas but in case I don't - I would like to wish you all - all the joys of the season!   Warmest wishes, Lesley

Hello, hello, hello! You will always be my little Fluffette! A Christmas wedding, how fabulous darling! And all the best boys are December babies. Now, I've seen and touched one of your cards IRL, so I know the pictures don't really do them justice, this one is just gorgeous. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. xxx
